Wings of fire graphic novel series8/7/2023 But everybody that says this series is good, YOUR LEGIT!!!!! But I do find it a bit hard to catch on with the storyline in the first book, so if it helps, read the graphic novel first and then read the regular version. I'm ten right now, and I don't think that it's really terrible. If you're hesitating to let your kids read this, I think that it's pretty much fine unless you've completely disapproved it. It is, at sometimes, a tad bit disturbing, because the violence is VERY well described, but that's also a good thing cuz the rest of it is very well described, too. I basically just took out a random book out of the library and I love it SO SO MUCH! The violence does get a little bit better after the first book, but is still considerably gruesome. I didn't read very much before I found out about this. Okay, I admit that for this book I read the graphic novel version, but they're almost exactly the same. Throughout the first few books there has been a lot of violence, such as throats being ripped inside out, impaling straight through the chest and dead dragons sprawled on the ground, but if your fine with that the series is definitely something anybody between the age of maybe 9-13 will really appreciate. Just so u know this is a kid because I couldn't find out how to make a kid review but this book and the whole series is UNBELIEVABLY entertaining. Here it is in a nutshell (SPOILER ALERT!):A group of older age dragonets are in a mountain for their own safety, they grew up together, they plan to escape, they escape, they find the evil queen, evil queen figure captures them and makes them fight in a arena, some mudwing guy (the protagonist) befriends the possibly most deadliest dragon still alive to the 14th book, the mudwing figures out he has fireproof scales, a rainwing with acid spit spits on the eve up queen injuring her and the crowd gets scared and dragons thought the evil queen was dead, the dragonets escape, mudwing dude figures out his mother sold him for two cows, but his siblings loved him, then they head towards the ocean to find the seawing’s family the first book to wings of fire contains a egg being smashed by a evil nasty and vicious queen who get what she deserved later on in the book, and bloodthirsty audiences who have nothing better to do but watch a bunch of prisoner of war dragons fight to the death, but the first book was not that bad! The rest of the series is not that gory either. The #1 New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series soars to new heights in the seventh graphic novel adaptation, with art by Mike Holmes.I read this series a lot, the first book is gory and gruesome, but try to compare that to warrior cats, warrior cats has deaths from rat bites and cats killing other cats, kits being used and etc. But even the bravest dragons can't follow him to the Ice Kingdom, where he'll have to face the greatest threat of all: his own family. When their search leads the dragonets straight into Queen Scarlet's vicious talons, Winter is grateful to have some help. They don't seem to understand that IceWings, the most superior of all dragon tribes, can fix their own problems. Winter's new clawmates, Moon, Qibli, and Kinkajou, won't let him make this dangerous journey alone. When his sister, Icicle, runs away from Jade Mountain Academy, fleeing terrible crimes and possibly planning to commit more, Winter knows that they both need a second chance to make things right - if only he can find her. Winter has been a disappointment to his royal IceWing family his whole life. The graphic novel adaptations of the #1 New York Times bestselling Wings of Fire series continue to set the world on fire!
